StatementTable vs other statement converters
Every tool in this category turns a bank statement into a spreadsheet or an accounting import file, and most of them do it well. What separates them is what a page costs over a year, what happens to the pages you don't use, what you are shown when a row came out wrong, and where the file goes. This page names none of the other tools, because their prices and policies move; it names the questions, and answers them for us.

Side by side
| What you are comparing | StatementTable | Other converters |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing model | One-time page packs from $9 for 60 pages, plus optional monthly plans | Most sell a monthly or annual subscription with a page allowance |
| Do unused pages carry over? | Packs never expire. Monthly plan pages roll over while you stay subscribed | In a subscription, an unused allowance usually resets at the end of the month |
| Free tier | 3 pages every day, with no end date, no account and no card | Commonly a trial that ends after a set number of days or pages |
| Cancelling | One click on your account page. The plan ends at the close of the period you paid for, and nothing is charged after that | Varies. Read the cancellation terms before the first charge |
| When a row is wrong | The row is marked on screen with the size of the difference, and exported with the others. How the check works | Some tools run a balance check; many advertise an accuracy figure instead |
| Files after processing | Deleted when the conversion finishes, in every case within one hour. Where the file goes | Read each tool's privacy policy for the retention period |
| Scans and phone photos | Up to 10 photos of one statement, with the same balance check on the result. Scans and photos | Varies; some tools take digital PDFs only |
| Export formats | XLSX, CSV, QBO, OFX, QFX, QIF, JSON | Usually XLSX and CSV; the accounting formats vary by tool |
The right-hand column describes the category, not a particular product. The pricing page of the tool you are weighing is the authority for that tool.
Which one fits your practice
We would rather you pick correctly than pick us. Each column below is a reason to sign up somewhere.
Another converter may fit when
- You need an API. Programmatic access is a feature of the larger tools' paid plans.
- Procurement requires an audit certification. Some vendors publish a third-party security audit, and some approval processes will not move without it.
- You import IIF into QuickBooks Desktop. We export QBO; IIF is on some other export lists.
- You need per-seat accounts and user management. Larger tools build their plans around named team members.
- Your monthly volume is high and steady. At a consistent volume a subscription tier can cost less per page than our packs. Put your own page count against both pricing pages.
StatementTable fits when
- Your volume is lumpy. Practice work spikes at year end and around deadlines. Paying monthly for capacity you use twice a year is the wrong shape. Our packs never expire.
- You want to try it on a real statement without a countdown. Three pages a day, with no end date and no account.
- You want the wrong row marked, on screen, on every plan including free, rather than a percentage on a marketing page.
- You would rather not create an account to find out whether a tool reads your bank's layout.
- You want to spend $9 rather than start a subscription to convert one client's back catalog.
- The statement is a phone photo. Up to ten photos of one statement go through the same pipeline and the same check.
- You want to know exactly where the file goes. One page, every provider, no stored statements.
Settle it on your own statement
Most tools in this category convert a statement free, at least once. Use the same file on each and compare the output against your PDF, row by row. Twenty minutes of that answers the extraction question better than any marketing page, because it is measured on the only corpus that matters, which is yours. Convert a statement here.
