What counts as a page?
One page of your PDF is one page. A 4-page statement costs 4 pages, whether it holds 12 transactions or 90. Photos count as one page each. If a conversion fails or errors out, nothing is deducted. If you stop one yourself after it has started reading, the pages it already read stay counted.
A typical monthly bank statement is 2 to 5 pages. A year of statements for one account is usually 25 to 50 pages, so a $9 Starter pack covers a full year for one account with room to spare.

You are not locked in
- Credit packs never expire. A pack is a one-time purchase. There is no "use it or lose it" month and no renewal.
- Monthly plans cancel any time from your account page. Pages you've already paid for stay usable through the end of the period, and rolled-over pages are kept for 30 days after you cancel.
- Refunds within 14 days for the unused part of a pack. Our merchant of record returns it to your original payment method. Full refund policy
- Nothing is deducted for a failure. A conversion that errors out, times out or comes back empty costs no pages. Stopping one yourself is different: the pages already read stay counted, because the reading is what costs.

There is no feature behind a paywall. Paying buys you more pages, and that is all it buys.

Why the pages are priced, and not the months
Bookkeeping work is seasonal. There are quiet months, and then a wall of files at year end and around every deadline. A monthly allowance is the wrong shape for that: the pages you don't use in June are no help to you in January, and you pay for them again anyway.
So the default here is pages. Buy 300, use 40 this quarter and the other 260 next year. If you genuinely do convert every month, Practice and Firm land at much the same price per page, with the difference that unused pages roll over while you're subscribed rather than resetting.

Pricing questions
Do credits expire?
No. A credit pack is a one-time purchase and unused pages stay on your account indefinitely. There's no expiry date, no "use it or lose it" month, and no renewal.
Will I be charged again automatically?
Not for a credit pack. There is no card on file with us and nothing renews. When you run out of pages, you buy another pack or go back to the free daily pages. Only the Practice and Firm plans bill monthly, automatically, until you cancel them, and cancelling is one button on your account page.
What happens if a conversion fails?
Nothing is deducted. Pages come off your balance only after a conversion completes successfully. If a file errors out, times out, or comes back empty, you keep the credits.
What if the output is wrong?
Email us within 7 days with the order address and a description of what went wrong. There is no need to send the statement. If the extraction was clearly bad, we credit those pages back. A layout that came out wrong is fixed and the change published on the changelog.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 14 days of purchase, for the unused portion of the pack. Pages you've already converted are deducted at the pack's per-page rate; the rest is refunded by Polar to your original payment method, usually in 5–10 business days. Full refund policy.
Do you offer a free trial?
The free tier is the trial, and there's no countdown on it: 3 pages every day, with or without an account, and no card. Convert your own statement before you spend anything, which is the only test that matters.
Which currency am I charged in?
Prices are listed in USD. At checkout, Polar shows the amount in your local currency where it can and handles VAT, GST or sales tax according to your billing country.
Do I need an account to buy?
You'll need to give an email address at checkout so we can attach the credits to it. Signing in is passwordless: we email you a six-digit code, so there is no password to create or remember.
Can several people in my firm share one plan?
Yes. The Practice and Firm plans include unlimited users: everyone signs in with their own email and draws from the same monthly page balance. Credit packs sit on one account, so the practical answer there is to share that account's sign-in.
Is there a plan for high volume or an API?
Firm at 600 pages a month and Office at 1,000 pages are the largest published plans. If you need more than that regularly, or programmatic access, email support@statementtable.com and tell us the volume, so the price fits the actual requirement.
