Terms of Service
Plain terms for a simple service: we convert what is printed, you review it before you rely on it.
Last updated September 10, 2026
These terms govern your use of the service. The privacy policy covers what we process, and the data processing agreement is the Article 28 contract that applies where you upload another person's statement.
1. The service
StatementTable converts bank and credit-card statements (native PDFs, scanned PDFs and photographs of paper pages) into spreadsheet and accounting-import formats. It extracts what is printed. The output is intended to be a faithful copy of the transactions on the document; it does not create, alter or "repair" statements, and we do not verify the authenticity of the document you upload. Output is provided for your own review before you rely on it.
2. Accuracy and your responsibility
Extraction is automated and may contain errors, especially on low-quality scans and photographs. Every conversion is checked against the balances printed on the statement and inconsistencies are flagged, but a passed check is not a guarantee. You must review the output before importing it into accounting, tax, lending or legal workflows. We are not accountants or financial advisers and we give no accounting, tax or financial advice.
Where a statement carries no printed running balance, the balance check is marked unavailable on the result and in the export, and no arithmetic check has been performed on that conversion. Reviewing that output is your responsibility.
3. Acceptable use
You may only upload statements you are entitled to process. You must not use the service to fabricate or alter financial records, to process data unlawfully, to circumvent the free-tier limits, to overload the service, to scrape it, or to reverse-engineer it. We may suspend access for abuse.
4. Free tier and credits
The free tier allows a limited number of pages per day, currently 3 without an account and 5 when signed in, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
Paid credits are sold as one-time page packs. Credits are held on your account and are deducted per page for the pages we read; a failed conversion is not charged, and a conversion you stop after it has started keeps the pages it had already read. Credits from page packs do not expire. Keep your sign-in email secure: anyone who can receive your sign-in codes can use your credits. Credits have no cash value except through the refund policy and are not transferable between accounts.
5. Monthly plans
Monthly plans (Practice and Firm) add a fixed number of pages to your account each billing period. Pages you do not use in a period roll over to the next period for as long as the subscription is active. Plan pages are used before page-pack credits. A plan may be used by any number of people within one organization.
A plan renews itself. It is billed once a month, automatically, at the price shown when you subscribed, and it keeps renewing until you cancel it. The renewal date is the same day of the month as your first charge. We tell you by email before a price change takes effect, and a price change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
Cancelling. You can cancel a monthly plan yourself, at any time, from your account page: one button, no email to write and no one to ask. Cancelling stops the next charge. The plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no refund is made for the remainder of that period. When the subscription ends, any rolled-over plan pages remain usable for 30 days after the end of the final billing period and then expire. Page-pack credits are unaffected by cancellation.
6. Your account
Accounts are optional; the free tier works without one. To create an account you give an email address and we email you a single-use sign-in code. There is no password. You are responsible for keeping access to that email address secure, because anyone who can receive your codes can sign in and spend your credits.
One account per person or business. You may share sign-in access within your own organization, but you may not resell access or share it with unrelated parties.
You can delete your account at any time from your account page. Deletion removes your email address, replaces the identifier on your ledger entries with a short code that carries no name and no email address, and forfeits any unused credits. If you want a refund for those, request it before deleting. We may suspend or close an account for abuse under section 3, and will refund unused credits if we close an account for any reason other than abuse.
7. Purchases, seller of record and taxes
Purchases are made through Polar Software Inc., our merchant of record, which is the seller of record, issues your invoice, collects applicable VAT and sales tax and processes payment. Polar's terms apply to the transaction. StatementTable never receives your card details.
8. Refunds
See our refund policy. In short: unused page-pack credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase, failed conversions are never charged, and monthly plans can be canceled at any time.
9. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice. If StatementTable is discontinued, unused credits are refunded in full, regardless of when they were bought.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses caused by acting on output you did not review. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Australia. Nothing in this section excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. Where the Australian Consumer Law allows us to limit our liability for a service, our liability is limited, at our option, to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
11. Privacy and data protection
Our privacy policy explains what we process. In short: we don't keep your file. It exists only while your conversion runs and is deleted right after, in every case within one hour. The security page shows the full data flow.
Where you upload a statement containing another person's personal data, such as a client's, you are the controller of that data and we are your processor. Our data processing agreement forms part of these terms and takes effect for you automatically when you use the service. It is published in full and needs no signature, so you can file it and move on. Nothing separate has to be requested or countersigned.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Consumers in the EU and the UK keep the protections of their local mandatory law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes, meaning anything affecting your credits, refunds or privacy, will be announced by email to account holders at least 14 days before they take effect, and the "last updated" date on this page always reflects the current version. If you do not accept a change, you may request a refund of unused credits within 30 days of it taking effect, regardless of when you bought them.
14. Contact
StatementTable is operated from Türkiye. Postal address on request at the address below, and on any agreement we countersign for you.
