What the green badge means. We rebuild your running balance from the transactions and compare it to the one your bank printed. If they match, the numbers came across.
One conversion, every format. You get a review workbook first. Correct anything that needs it, upload it back, and Excel, CSV, QuickBooks, OFX, Quicken and QIF are all produced from it.
Your file isn't being kept. It's in memory right now and gone when this finishes.
A flagged row isn't a broken file. It's one line to check against your statement, usually a single misread digit.
Every row you can see matches the balance printed beside it. Only the total at the end is off, which is what happens when a file holds part of a longer statement: the closing balance printed on it usually belongs to the whole period, not just these pages. It can also mean the rows are in an order we didn't detect. In the review workbook, set the opening and closing balances for these pages on the Statement details sheet, and check the rows below against your statement.
Step 2
Download the review workbook and check it
One Excel file with these rows and a Statement details sheet. Download it before you leave this page: we keep no copy of your statement or its rows.
Then, in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets:
- Transactions sheet: correct the rows marked “Review this row”. They are also shaded. Compare each one with your statement and correct its Date, Description, Money out or Money in cell; the Note column says what to look at. Rows marked “Matched” need nothing.
- Statement details sheet: check the fields. Change only the Value column.
- Opening balance is the only required field. We filled it in from the statement: check it, or type it in if the cell is empty.
- For QuickBooks (.qbo), OFX or Quicken (.qfx) files: type the Account number, and check Account type (choose it from the drop-down list in its cell) and Currency (three letters, such as USD).
- For QIF files: check the Account type. Every other field is optional.
- Save it as .xlsx. Keep the sheet names and the column headings. In Numbers use File > Export To > Excel; in Google Sheets, File > Download > Microsoft Excel (.xlsx).
- Come back to this page and upload it in Step 3. Now or any day later: uploading the workbook uses no pages.
A preview of the Transactions sheet. Each row's balance is recalculated from the opening balance and checked against the number the bank printed beside it.
| Date | Description | Debit | Credit | Balance | Check |
|---|
Highlighted rows need a look against your statement: usually one misread digit, and the note beside each says what to check. The same rows are marked in the review workbook, where you correct them. We never silently change an amount, because a change would be a guess.
Step 3
Upload the review workbook
After you have checked and saved the workbook from Step 2, upload it here: the file whose name ends in _review.xlsx. Your Excel, CSV, QuickBooks, OFX, Quicken and QIF files are made from it. Uploading uses no pages, so you can upload it again after more changes, today or later.
Your bank statement (PDF, scan or photos) goes in Step 1, not here.

We keep no copy
Your file is held only while the conversion runs and is never stored on our side. Our AI provider deletes what it receives within 30 days and never trains on it. The full data flow.
Every row checked
Opening balance plus transactions has to equal each printed balance. Rows that don't add up are flagged. How the check works.
Every format from one workbook
Confirm the review workbook and upload it: Excel, CSV, a three-column CSV for an accounting import, QBO for QuickBooks, OFX for Xero, QFX and QIF, all from one conversion. Which one do you need?
